For Chicago Marathon week, we collaborated with Hardgoods to build Channel 26 BNDTV Studios, Bandit's pop-up staged as a working local news station. Hardgoods led creative and environmental design, and we handled technical design and fabrication across the full space.
We approached the retail floor the way a crew packs for a shoot. Road cases, Unistrut, and milk crates became lit collection bays, garment walls, and display tables, and a radiused enclosure around the existing staircase carried the station's test pattern onto the sales floor in stretched fabric. Past the shop, a working control room and anchor set carried the broadcast through the rest of the space. We approached the retail floor the way a crew packs for a shoot.
