Designed and built on a ten-day turn, we collaborated with Recess Studios to create a stadium merch booth for the launch of the Nike USA xVirgil Abloh Archive collection at Soldier Field. Recess led spatial design and experience programming and management while we handled technical design and fabrication.
Inspired by European football merch stands — brutalist, raw, structurally exposed. Rather than convert a container, we framed the booth from scratch in wood to hit the silhouette precisely. We implemented an exposed grate facing over brushed aluminum panels that carried the merch displays. The corrugated roof pitched to shed water without breaking the booth's profile, and custom finishing matched the brushed-aluminum aesthetic across steel components.
On the roof, twenty-eight printed flags swapped in and out of 14-gauge steel receivers, angled at 80° with quick-connect hardware. The exterior sticker wrap was printed as single sheets and weeded off, reading as a layered, hand-applied surface. Decisions like these are what ultimately enable us to deliver the creative vision of our clients.
